FALCOM announces the availability of the embedded GSM/GPRS/USB1.1 compliant OEM module FALCOM C2D-USB. The device provides a unique combination of state-of-the-art GSM/GPRS technology and USB1.1 slave port. GPRS class B class 2 or class 8, SMS, GSM data and fax services are supported. The compact form factor (49 x 14 x 95 mm) integrates power supply circuitry, EMC/ESD protection, 3 V SIM card interface, LED status bar and antenna interface. The mechanical concept allows stand alone operation as well as integration into OEM terminals. Full set of accessories like USB adapter cable and GSM antennas as well as Windows and Linux drivers from FTDI (www.ftdichip.com) are available.
