Dear FALCOM partner,

we announce the availability of two new members of our embedded GPS module product family that rely on the latest SiRF GSC3LTf chip set technology.
The new embedded GPS module JP18 is perfect combination of high-sensitivity, very low power consumption and very compact size. It offers 20 channel high sensitivity GPS performance, 27mA power consumption in continuous mode and very small form factor of just 11 x 11 mm. The JP18 can be handled using SMD mounting technology. The JP18-EVALKIT provides hardware and software designers with the entire set of relevant design-in information. The JP18 is perfect platform for the creation of high-performance, low power, very compact and cost efficient GPS enabled systems for automotive, asset and personal security and tracking.

The new embedded smart GPS antenna FSA01 combines latest GPS technology based on the GSC3LTf chip set with Geohelix Sarantel antenna, LNA and SAW filter. It relieves hardware engineers from the complexity tasks of RF design and offers excellent price/performance ratio for the creation of a variety of tate-of-the-art GPS enabled handhelds at a reduced design-in risk and improved Time-to-Market factor. The design-in activities are supported by the corresponding FSA01-EVALKIT.

Orders for EVALKITs and samples are accepted now. The volume production roll out is scheduled for the second half of June 2007.
