FALCOM receives full type and PTCRB approval of SAMBA56 06.01.05 10:37

At the beginning of 2005 FALCOM GmbH can announce its success in obtaining full PRCRB and FCC approval of the USB Tri Band GSM/GPRS modem SAMBA56 and thus the approval for the American market.

The SAMBA56 possesses all features and applications that the SAMBA55 - the European sister model - provides.

The only difference between both units is the frequency range.

SAMBA55: Tri Band GSM/GPRS 900 MHz, 1800 MHz und 1900 MHz;

SAMBA56: Tri Band GSM/GPRS 850 MHz, 1800 MHz und 1900 MHz (US-Version).

By availability of both SAMBA modem versions a world wide usage is possible for easy and timesaving transmission of data, voice, SMS, MMS, fax, e-mail etc. (dependent on the used software) through world wide spread GSM networks.
