FALCOM GmbH, a leading developer and manufacturer of GSM/GPRS and GPS modules and modems and wireless communication devices, announced today the establishment and opening of its first US subsidiary; FALCOM USA Inc. in California. In addition, FALCOM announced the appointment of Shane Armani as Chief Operating Officer of FALCOM USA. Mr. Armani will be responsible to establish, manage and develop FALCOM USA activities in North, Central and South America. Shane Armani has worked in wireless telecommunication and Consumer Electronics field for over 15 years. His international experience and multicultural background has contributed in business development, marketing, sales and developing new market presence for various international companies. He holds an MBA degree and speaks 5 languages. From early 2001 until joining FALCOM, he was Wavecom's Director of Business Development for the Americas, then moved to Paris to join Wavecom's Corporate Marketing/Business Development team.
