FALCOM announces the release of the new MAMBO55/56 product family 14.12.05 15:36

The new concept represents high-performance environment for a variety of personal security, asset and fleet management applications. The device combines state-of-the-art tri-band GSM/GPRS engine, high-sensitive 20 channel GPS core, Bluetooth class 2 core for audio and data communication as well as 3D motion detection module.

The MAMBO concept offers comprehensive standard configurable embedded application that enables SMS, CSD, GPRS and audio communication. The firmware supports data logging and geo-fencing functionality as well as sophisticated power management. The entire evaluation, field test and design-in process can be managed using the MAMBO-EVALKIT. EVALKITs and Evaluation Samples are available from stock. The volume production is scheduled for Q1/2006.
